Karen Newman
Hi,

My name is Karen Newman, Master’s Certified PCP

Technician and owner of Color Me Natural. I have been trained in the latest techniques and am certified to use the most technologically advanced instrumentation available for the application of permanent cosmetic makeup.

I am OSHA Certified and receive a certification on a yearly basis. Only single use disposable needles are used during my procedures and are handled in accordance with strict OSHA regulations and guidelines. I have entered the permanent makeup profession after 12 years as the President/CEO of Total Quality Communications, Inc. an engineering and installation firm to SBC, now ATT.

Master’s Certified PCP This made me a tremendous living, but not the most gratification.
I loved to wear markup, eyeliner, lipstick etc, but I hated to apply it more than one time per day. I just did not have the time, and did not have the desire to carry my makeup with me, or apply it during the day. I was introduced to a woman that told me her makeup was permanent, and the rest is history. I was fascinated, and immediately had my eyes done, then I had to get my lips done. I was conservative, so when I began my training, of course, I was the first to volunteer for more. I knew, if a woman knew what a difference it would me to her face and her time, there would be no hesitation. I still truly believe every woman that applies eyebrows, eyeliner and lipstick everyday, and several times a day on her face should consider permanent makeup.
I have sewed since I was 9 years old, and have always had a passion for color, texture and perfection in any thing I produced from a sewing machine or by hand method, and I am considered an expert seamstress – studying and teaching in Texas and California.

I entered LBCC in the fashion design program and became well known for my sewing ability, selection of colors, and precision in which I created a period outfit without a paper pattern on ½ scale models with exact detail.
I use this same precision and dedication when I apply permanent makeup to any client. My technical skills and creativity help me to provide a look my clients truly enjoy.

I stand behind the high quality of my work.
I have trained in permanent cosmetics in St. Louis, Missouri, ( where I hold a license ) advanced techniques in Dallas, Texas and the hand method in Wisconsin.

I practice by appointment only.
The hand tool that I chose to use assures stable needle frequency that is controlled by my hand, resulting in perfect pigment color retention. It guarantees no chance of cross contamination, and all my colors are formulated for the area of the face that they are being applied.

As member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals, I have been trained by some of the most talented and experienced permanent cosmetics specialist in the country including Cheri and Angela Durbin of So Natural Institute, Dixie Medford, president of the SPCP and owner of Classic Beauty Concepts, and many other instructors in Ft. Worth, Texas with the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics.
